Internal Concrete Laying

The last week has seen a dramatic change to the inside of the building with the laying of the power floated floor. An amazing process to watch with the concrete being pumped into place by a huge crane/pump, the concrete positioned and tamped by a team of welly wearing workers, and the finish achieved by the use of 3 different bladed machines.
We should see the completion of the cladding by the end of the week and some shutter doors next week. Keep checking in for the progress reports.

We are back on Site!

Due to some general hiccups in our plans and the speed in which GSE have progressed the build we have had a slow 5 weeks on site with just fire protection work ongoing to the interior of the building. However we are very pleased to announce that a full team is now back on site with ground works and cladding being the main focus. We hope to have the cladding completed over the next 2 weeks alongside the concrete slab being started in the building as well as the roadways.

As things move along we will be keeping this news section up to date with pictures.

Roof Completion and Cladding Underway

Today we have been onto the roof as it is complete and the scaffold will be coming down. It is an amazing sight and has been completed extremely quickly.

Much of the cladding has also been fitted and the building is really taking shape thanks to the hard work put in by the GSE Design & Build Team and Reids Steel.
